Weekly Album Spotlight :
"I Brought You Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" By My Chemical Romance
Ramble Sesh (Review)
Released July 23rd, 2002, "I Brought You Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" is the debut album of My Chemical Romance.
With a run time of a little over 40 minutes, and 11 tracks overall, I can confidently say it's my favorite album by MCR.
My Top Three Tracks:
1. Drowning lessons
2. Early Sunsets Over Monroeville
3. Demolition Lovers
The album's general sound and composition is really nice- I love how raw it feels, both in terms of emotion and production. The outlook it has on vampires and death is really cool too. The sense of dread that comes with becoming undead is really refreshing, especially seeing how becoming a vampire is romanticized sometimes. In total, it's just a really well written, well made album.
